As promised, here is part 2 of the amazing maternity filled weekend in Savannah GA from this spring. This portion of the weekend was long awaited as we'd been talking about it since we found out Jamie was pregnant!  I'd been dying to do some "glamorous" maternity portraits with the long flowing dresses and I'd also been dying to do portraits on a beach for the first time.  So this session was pretty much a dream come true for me!  

I think it's so special to celebrate motherhood with photographs like this!  There are a lot of not so glamorous parts of pregnancy with emotions and all of the symptoms it brings right?  And in those moments, it can be easy to forget just how amazing you are as a new mom.  I love to create these portraits as reminders to moms that they are extraordinary women and absolutely stunning as they're growing a new little person for the world, even if they don't always feel like it.  Each woman's idea of beautiful varies of course.  Some may want the big fancy ball gown on the beach, others may want a simple dress in a whimsical forest.  It doesn't matter where we are or what's being worn, as long as momma really feels beautiful.  I will always encourage my clients to take portraits like this because they're amazing and they deserve to know it.
