The Catherwood Family | Austin Fur Baby Photographer | Lone Oak Barn Anniversary Session
Ok guys, get ready for me to gush over this amazing session that will forever make me smile. If you don't already know, I'm a huge dog lover and I have 2 canine babies of my own that I pretty much treat like actual children. In fact, when people ask my husband and I if we're going to have kids soon we always reply "We do have kids, fur kids". For right now, we're completely content with our little family, even if some people think we're a little nutty. And just like people with kids love to connect with other parents, I love to connect with other people who love their animals as much as we do. So when I got an email about doing a family session for the Catherwood's with their Golden Doodle Puppy/Fur Baby... guys I almost died of happiness.
Everyone, meet Reese! A spunky Golden Doodle who is SO loved by her parents, seriously, it's adorable. She had lot's of energy and lot's of personality and it was an absolute blast to photograph her and her family! To make it really special, we did the session at The Lone Oak Barn in Round Rock, TX where her parents tied the knot. It was so precious to capture them recreating some moments and creating new ones with their new fur baby. As you'll see in a minute, there are TONS of cute photo ops at The Lone Oak Barn. I cannot wait to shoot a wedding there one day *Hint* *Hint* ;).
I seriously had so much fun photographing the Catherwood's being awesome parents, an adorable couple, and all around amazing people. Then of course, hanging out with Reese the doodle was a blast too. As a pet owner myself, getting to capture this unique love and bond is so rewarding for me and I'm so thankful for every chance I get to do it! Reese was not coaxed into doing this, she literally wrapped her leash around her parents all on her own, pretty much ready to star in a romantic comedy.
