I am still over the moon excited that she chose EffJay Photography for her senior portraits!  We got connected after I photographed her older sister Mckenna's graduation portraits (Check those out here) at UT.  Mckenna was SO sweet and mentioned how she wished I could do her little sister's high school senior portraits too.  The only kicker was that her little sister, Makurri, lived in Lubbock, TX (which is a bit of a drive from Austin).  So you can imagine my happiness when I got an email from Makurri months later telling me she wanted to travel to Austin to work with me! It is one of the very best compliments I can receive as a photographer to have clients who value me enough to travel!

So of course, I wanted to make sure we got everything just right for her.  We picked Bull Creek as our location to make sure we had lots of greenery and water, something not as common in Lubbock, to make her portraits unique.  Then she had the cutest outfits styled by her mom and sister along with hair and make up.  But what really made her portraits special, was capturing all of the joy that is Makurri.  She is seriously like a vile of joy and every time she smiles you can't help but smile too!  We got to capture that and more and it was SO much fun!
