Jackson: Class of 2020 | Kansas City Senior Photographer | West Bottoms

Took a little bit of a break but I’m back with another 2020 graduate to be showcased on the journal!

This is Jackson, he was SUCH a good sport for his session as we actually battled the rain. While he didn’t want any pictures in the weather, he was more than willing to find spots with cover whenever it started to pour. Luckily, we did his session at West Bottoms in Kansas City which had plenty of covered areas for us to explore. We also shot his session in the early morning which was a great way to make sure we wouldn’t disrupt any of the businesses down there or anyone else enjoying West Bottoms. Whenever I can, I try to pick locations or times where were less likely to run into crowds. Not only does this give us more options for backdrops but it’s also usually much more comfortable for my clients to be photographed without an audience of strangers.

Jackson did an amazing job in front of the camera, though he admitted it’s not something he just loves, we kept his session relaxed and just showcased him. Senior guys, pictures are not just for girls, and we don’t have to go crazy with locations and outfits and creative ideas. Your pictures can be as simple or as crazy as you want them to be, this session is about YOU.
