Maddie: Class of 2020 | Kansas City Senior Photographer | Fall Nature Session
The countdown begins: We are 5 blog posts away from honoring all of the 2020 Graduates who trusted me to capture their senior portraits this past school year.
Next up is Maddie, a total sweetheart with amazing style and more talent than I would personally know what to do with! She was actually my very last senior of 2019. We shot her session at my favorite nature park in Lee’s Summit at my favorite time in the Fall season. It’s a very underrated time for portraits, as so many people try and get in right at the peak of the color changing season, but I honestly prefer the colors after they’ve changed. Everything is brown but not quite barren like winter and the neutrals turn a perfect gold in the evening light. You just can’t beat it, and it was certainly the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous senior!
As you scroll, you’ll notice her impeccable taste. I seriously loved ALL of the outfits she put together, from casual to classy. It was so fun getting to capture so many facets of her into portraits, she even brought her cheer uniform for a few last minute photos (She was the cheer captain and will go on to cheer in college!). But aside from athletics, style, and obvious beauty, Maddie has such a warmth and kindness that she gives off effortlessly. It was such an honor to get to illustrate this milestone for her and I can’t wait to see how she will grow and thrive in her next adventures at MNU.
Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite shots we captured of her:
Thank you again Maddie, for trusting me to illustrate this small but significant part of your story!
