Y’all, I am at a loss for words in regards to how much I love this session. I mean, look at these expecting parents, they’re absolutely beautiful inside and out and I feel so grateful that they trusted me to capture this chapter of their story. This was also my first session at Colonial Gardens and now I’m completely hooked. It’s an amazing location with beautiful light and it’s got greenery 12 months of the year. It’s also an excellent alternative session if the weather in Kansas City is looking finicky on session day. For this shoot, the weather was actually perfect, so we got to explore all around the property along with the stunning tropical greenhouse.
