Turning 1 | Outdoor Strawberry Bath Session | Lees Summit Photographer

As a photographer, I’d been dreaming of doing an outdoor strawberry bath session for so long and this session absolutely exceeded my expectations! When Momma contacted me about doing a 1 Year session for her daughter, I mentioned the idea of the strawberry bath just to see if it peaked her interest. She was on board with it right away, not only because it’s adorable, but because her daughters favorite food at the time was actually strawberries! I love doing creative things for portraits, but never at the expense of the subjects comfort. We weren’t sure how she’d react being in a tub of strawberries (with kids you never know), but to our delight she LOVED it. She snacked and splashed to her hearts content and actually cried when we eventually had to take her out of the tub to go home. Thankfully, she got to eat some more strawberries in the car haha.
