When I first started with photography, I didn’t feel very confident photographing newborns with all of the intricate backdrops, posing, and props. I completely appreciate the art of that style, but it’s not something that I excel at. It wasn’t until I found a more lifestyle approach to newborn photography, that I really started to fall in love with it. My in-home lifestyle newborn sessions are extremely relaxed, easy-going, and focused on the most authentic details of your growing family. Some babies love to be wrapped, so we bundle them tight, set them on a pretty blanket and photograph them there. Some babies love to have their limbs free and stretched out, so maybe we photograph them with no wrap. Some babies would just really rather be held the entire time, so we photograph them snuggled up with their loved ones. The session is built with the flexibility to capture what is true to your baby, your family and all the details you’ll want to remember. Baby W’s session is a perfect example of why I love these sessions so much.
