Alana + Daymond | Kansas City Photographer | Wildflower Couples Session
When Alana contacted me in the spring of 2020, she shared with me that her and her new husband Daymond had just recently gotten married but didn’t get the chance to have very many portraits of the two of them due to downsizing their wedding. She wanted an intentional portrait session that would capture their love for each other and I knew I would love this couple already as intentional portraits are my jam. Getting portraits taken with your spouse after the wedding day is something I urge all couples to do, because your love deserves to be celebrated and commemorated no matter what day it is. It’s also a fantastic date idea to get all dressed up and spend an hour or two just focusing on each other with a third wheel paparazzi. I loved getting to be the third wheel for Alana and Daymond, hear all about their love story, who they are and share all the laughs as we frolicked in the gorgeous summer wildflowers. They’re an incredible couple and I’m forever grateful that they trusted me to capture a small part of their love story. Keep scrolling to see just a few of my favorites from their session:
