I love when my clients come to me with creative ideas for their sessions. My style is typically very client driven and not so much focused on props, but I’m always excited to incorporate them into sessions if they hold significant meaning to my clients. For this little client of mine, her mom wanted to capture her having a tea party using a tea set that she had received from her great grandmother. Mom and I set the table, but the rest of the shoot was just capturing the birthday girl playing, snacking, and having a sweet little tea party. I’ve been capturing this little girl since she was in her Momma’s tummy, so every time I get to photograph her in a new stage in life, I’m just in awe of how her little personality develops. We had an absolute blast and I’m so glad her mom had this idea to capture her baby girl turning 2.
