An elegant and beautiful affair for a Texas sized love.

This central Texas barn wedding will always be one of my favorites for so many reasons, but mostly because of this precious couple! I spoke with the bride and groom over FaceTime and as with all of my couples, I explained how important a good connection between us was to me. Out of a clients trust and comfort with me, the most beautiful and authentic images are born. My job and their experience is SO much better when the connection is there! But to throw a wrench into our consultation, I also explained to them that I was in the process of packing up my house. They were contacting me right before we made the move from Texas to Missouri, so if they chose to hire me, I would technically be a destination photographer to them and not a local Texas Wedding photographer. As we ended our call, I knew I just loved these people but was also completely understanding of why they might want to go with another photographer. Imagine my complete JOY when they emailed me saying they wanted to go ahead with me as their photographer even with the move! A beautiful connection was there, and now we have the pictures to prove it.

We captured so many stunning and once in a lifetime moments between not only the bride and groom, but their parents, siblings, friends, and everyone who came to celebrate their day at the gorgeous Allen Farmhaus. Every wedding I’ve had the privilege of shooting at this venue, has been so beautiful and I think a lot of the credit goes to the hard work and love the owners put into every wedding they host.
